Finding Your Way to Encouragement through Inspiration

Coaching Your Journey - By Joe Wotruba PhD

Well Spring is here again. A time of renewal, inspiration, and optimistic dreams of what the year will bring. In my lifetime the shape of my life has come from inspirational wisdom. These wisdoms often come from personal meditations and often from inspiring people who have left their mark on all of our lives. Our character comes from renewing our beliefs and principles in what is truly meaningful to us and holding these dear to our hearts in our daily actions with others. And yet, still for others, it may be another year of pessimism, lingering hopelessness, and even painful despair.

In these past few years there are way too few of us who can testify we have had no trials. Encouragement has been hard to come by, with the National and Global news of economic crisis and other catastrophic events. Many times these events have a more personal message. It has often been the story from across our country about the losses in employment, of families losing homes, and of personal resources saved for a lifetime being lost through debt and wall-street frauds. How can it be in such times when all seem futile, there are some of us who can still view these life challenges as not an end but as an opportunity and potential for something new?

Finding our way in times like these depends on our attitude, even in the gravest of challenges, it’s essential to remember, “Attitude Can Change Your Life”. Enjoying an inspirational quotation can be useful and make a moment of despair glimmer with Hope.
Here is one from Winston Churchill 1874-1965:

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”

In reflection about finding your way, one thing stands out as a certainty and that is, change is inevitable in all our lives. Life changes from moment to moment. It’s the quality of our Journey that can be inspirational and most enlightening. To find our way often takes a courageous plan to embrace the changes inevitable in all our lives. Certainly Winston Churchill found a way through World War II for his country and was a guiding inspiration for the rest of the world.

Finding your way may be assisted through finding an inspirational thought to guide you along your journey to acquiring your dreams. Encourage yourself to find inspiration in whatever you do. Using positive self-talk and disposing of negative self-destructive talk can be an effective way to change an attitude blocking your achievement, and surprisingly, also, the way you often feel about the quality of your life.

Lets start with taking a Personal Life Assessment of your Vision of Your Quality of Life.
